Capitol Music Group’s 2016 Grammy® Nominations

Today the 2016 Grammy® Awards nominees were announced including Capitol Records’ Tori Kelly, Don Henley, Disclosure, My Morning Jacket & The Decemberists. Capitol Records’ Tori Kelly, whose debut album ‘Unbreakable Smile’ was released in June, is nominated for Best New Artist. Kelly, who has performed at the Billboard Music AwardsMTV Video Music Awards and VH1’s Big Music concert is set to perform at Michael Buble’s Christmas in Hollywood special this month. Don Henley released his first solo album in 15 years, titled ‘Cass County,’ this September. “The Cost of Loving” off his new LP is nominated for “Best American Roots Song” at the 2016 Grammy® Awards. Listen to ‘Cass County’ here and get a limited edition album bundle here.

British brother duo Guy and Howard Lawrence of Disclosure – whose sophomore album ‘Caracal’ with special guests Sam Smith, Lorde and more was released in September – is nominated for “Best Dance/Electronic Album.” Watch their official video for “Magnets” featuring Lorde here and download ‘Caracal’ here.

My Morning Jacket’s ‘The Waterfall’ is nominated for “Best Alternative Music Album.” Recorded in Stinson Beach, CA the album is steeped in the spirit of where it was made. “Stinson Beach was so psychedelic and focused.
