On today’s episode of Ellen, Degeneres sat down with Tony Marrero, a survivor of the Orlando shooting at gay nightclub Pulse. DeGeneres surprised Marrero with an appearance from Katy Perry whose new anthem “Rise” has inspired and motivated him during recovery.
