The pair toured McCartney’s childhood home, visited Penny Lane, and surprised Liverpool pub-goers with an impromptu concert. In a touching moment, McCartney shared with Corden that his mother was the inspiration behind his hit song, “Let It Be.” Corden began to tear up after the duo sang the legendary tune.
